Our Presenters:

Lydia Johnson

After 32 years in banking from the teller line to the executive table, Lydia launched her consulting business, focusing primarily on businesses looking for increased results through better systems and clearer focus. With her many clients she shares her experiences as a coach, trainer, presenter and facilitator for Board retreats and planning sessions.  Her other entrepreneurial pursuits include fund raising and serving on the boards of non-profit organizations, and a relationship marketing business. She is also an author, compiling her years of learning & experiences in her book – “The Jalapeno Handshake, Strategies to Heat Up Your Business Relationships.  Lydia believes if you are not on the edge, you are taking up too much space.

Michael Barnes

Michael is a 30+ year IT industry veteran and entrepreneur, having created businesses and/or worked in such diverse industries as telecommunications, aerospace, aviation, retail, software, travel, and most recently, financial.  For the past eight years he has been a Business Systems Analyst in the IT Department of the Vancity Credit Union, is an investor with a professionally managed diversified portfolio, and runs a relationship marketing business.

Michael’s passion is in guiding people, especially the young, to discover their personal life purpose and dreams, help them set goals and a plan to manifest their dreams, with the bigger goal of helping them create massive personal life meaning and lasting positive change in the world.
